Will one mini-split head cool a whole finished attic?
It depends on the layout and the insulation, not the square footage alone. An open attic space with reasonable insulation is usually fine on one properly sized head. A converted attic split into two bedrooms with a hallway between them will not condition the far room through a doorway, and pretending otherwise is how these installations disappoint people.
Do mini-splits heat well enough for a Maryland winter?
